Do my legs look bright in these?!
Colour is what makes me tick. In my work, my home. I love playing around with colour combinations and trying out new shades. When it comes to my wardrobe however, I'm a bit ... well ... shy! I tend to stick to neutrals like camel, beige, navy and lots of shades of grey, honestly my wardrobe has so much grey.
Recently, I've felt like I might be missing out. There are so many lovely colours in fashion at the moment.
I got a little brave a couple of weeks ago and bought green shoes! Feeling quite smug at my colourful shoe purchase I went one step further and ordered these coral jeans from George at Asda. They were on offer for £10 (they have since gone back to their original price of £14).
I didn't bank on them being quite so bright in "real life" and it came as a bit of a shock! But ... I kind of like them. I tried them on with some very old ankle boots (in grey!)
I'll probably wear them with a slouchy grey(!) tee-shirt and converse style pumps, just to tone things down a little. Oh, and for the record, they are really nice quality, the denim is so soft and comfortable.

Eeek - I love them! *Yay for bright colours* AMAZING! <3 xoxo
ReplyDeleteThank you my sweet!!! ;D xx
DeleteLove the colour and a great price also!:)

Price was definitely a factor in this case! :D xx
DeleteI love them!!! They are also the same colour as my fave nail polish! (Orly in Hot Shot) X
ReplyDeleteOh yes! I know that nail polish! Almost identical in colour! :D xx
DeleteThese are so nice! Wear them with pride. More people need to wear bright colours...saying that I have a pair of bright red jeans and I always feel like everyone else is going to need sunglasses when I wear them!

Ha ha! I know what you mean! I will probably be a bit self conscious at first wearing, but I shall take your advice and wear them with pride :D xx
DeleteI'd say £10 for those is a pretty fabulous bargain, they look great with those boots too! I wish I were braver as I'd love some mint green jeans!
ReplyDeleteJem xXx
P.S You might fancy entering my giveaway!
Ooooh! I like the mint green jeans that are about too!
DeleteP.S I will pop over and take a look, but I'm a bit/very late I think!??? :D xx
I'm really loving the bright coloured jeans available right now. I just don't know if I could wear them - I still have weight to lose and bright jeans on a lardy arse is probably a no-no!! £10 is a total bargain! :)
ReplyDeleteOh sod the lardy arse! These jeans have great stretch, go shake yer booty in some!!! ;D xx
DeleteThey're gorgeous! I've been eyeing up the george denim range for a while now... but clothes shopping on a student budget isn't always the easiest plan!
ReplyDeleteAaah, yes I remember those days :(
DeleteAsda's denim and indeed the whole George brand, is pretty reasonable and they always reduce items .... usually right after I've bought it the week before come to think of it! :D xx
Great colour! I'm a big neutrals fan too but I'm definitely being influenced by all the lovely spring pastels and brights and came home with a lilac tee shirt yesterday!

Yay! Go you, with your lilac tee!!!!! :D
DeleteIt can be hard to break out of the neutral rut can't it!? :D xx
Great colour, didn't even know George (Asda) sold them. Cool.x
ReplyDeleteAsda is great for clothes!! Go check out the denim, it's very good quality for the price!! :D xx
DeleteI love them!!! Coral is one of my fav colours... DOn't think I would be brave enough to wear them tho... paranoid about my chunky thighs lol ;) x
ReplyDeleteCoral is a lovely colour isn't it!
DeletePah to chunky thighs, get down to asda and bag yourself some coloured jeans Nic! :D xx
i love these! they look great with the black booties too! i love colour! the brighter the better ;) XX
ReplyDeleteThey are definitely bright! Getting used to them now though! :D xx
DeleteGorgeous - love a bit of coral. :) xx
ReplyDeleteYep! I'm a coral fan too! :D xx
Deletei bought these recently too but they have lost all their brightness in the wash, i loved them until i washed them !! now looking very dull, and washed at low temperature, inside out etc ! have you had a similar experience, strangely the blue i also purchased have kept their colour when washed !!
ReplyDeleteOh what a shame! Mine have washed fine up to now (only washed twice) I turned them inside out as you did and on 30 degrees. Hopefully they won't go dull as yours have :( I guess for the price the quality of dye may not be very good?! xx
